So, the dude makes more money in a year than God, but he wants to basically stay at a hotel for free compared to what Average Joe pays.

It's amazing how these people think. Make more money than anyone, and they want to pay less for everything.

Since I make like .001% of what he makes in a year, I think I should be entitled to a 95% discount.

And these celebirties wonder why Americans hate them.

Odd to hear, since he and Jolie donate millions to charity each year. I have no love/admiration for either, mind you. Perhaps he disputed the 2k a night because he didn't find the hotel worthy...or thought he was getting ripped off, because he's a celebrity. Who knows what the truth is. Maybe he is really is a cheap-@ss and all the donations/housing in New Orleans is a big facade. lol
Either way, its not worth pondering over.

Sorry, 90% of my television time is spent watching live action sports anyways.

I've got over 100 sports channel now with DirecTV. Sun Sports, FOX Sports Net, ESPN2, ESPN Classic, ESPNU, ESPN3, FOX Sports Net West, SPEED HD, MASN, MASN2, HDNET Sports, Versus, Showtime Sports, Showtime2, Showtime 3, NFL Network, NHL Network HD, NASCAR HotPass, YES, NESN, Yankees Television, MLB TV.



I'm happy as a cucumber with my sports programming selection.

...OK; If a star comes to your hotel, when you get one, you may want to treat them special as it may tend to promote the idea of staying at your hotel in the public's mind thereby giving Brad a $10,000 freebie once in awhile, or whatever it is, might yield you an extra $1,000 a day for the rest of the year.

This would apply to a restaurant as well or similar enterprise that relies on public promotion.

Most of my time spent in front of those networks is for NASCAR ON TNT LIVE, EliteXC on Showtime or Weeds, Californication, Dexter.

Primetime programming for me is usually whatever the MLB game is on ESPN - but now I have DirecTV and can watch just about anything.

Of course the fact that he and Jolie have donated over $8 Million of their own money (in 2006 alone) to various charities doesn't count for squat.
