American manufacturing results in $118 cotton hoodies. American Giant does well, to be sure, but our western lifestyle is quite expensive and the vast majority want stuff made with exploited (read: cheap) labor.

But American manufacturing is here, but generally attracts niche/upscale buyers. I have some American Giant products. They are of fine quality and workmanship and the fit and finish is above average. But be honest: who here will drop 118 bones for a cotton hoodie?

Face it: by and large, we want cheap goods. This is immutable fact.
