Thinking of taking the munchkin for a walk around the park....are there lots of trails that go by the river? Are there bathroom facilities?

Not sure about trails, but by the water you can walk around it a good ways. There is a small inlet to the right of the pier for a small swim area. Never had to use a restroom their, none in view of the parking area near the pier.

There is a jiffy john (or johns) near the main parking lot, but there is a nice bathroom over by the playground area. There are lots of trails to walk, which go by the river (Blue trail and River trail for sure). You can even access a beachy area. To get to the playground area, when you turn in the driveway, take the first left. This takes you over to the kayak dock and horse trails too. That is where the playground equipment and bathrooms are. There's also a covered pavillion with picnic tables.

We take the grandpup there quite frequently! Of course, she doesn't need to use restroom facilities! Here's a map...
