I'm looking at possibly having to take the GRE's in the future. Anyone have any advice or info they're willing to share?

Thats a GED, the GRE is the graduate school version of the SAT.

There are two sections Verbal and Math (at least there was in 1997), review your college algebra and bone up on your vocabulary.

GRE Exam

I just had to take the general test. I borrowed a book of sample tests from a coworker and each weekend took the sample exams. One week I took my time to answer all the questions and guess the rest. Another time I tried to fly through the questions to answer them all. I got higher scores when I took my time and guessed on the remaining questions. When I actually took the exam, I did better than the times I took the sample tests.

Good luck.

I took the GREs twice, but that was back in the mid-'90s so they may have changed a few things. The Princeton Review series of books has some good GRE prep books, but I recommend checking them out of the public library rather than buying them; you'll probably never use them again once you're over with the test.
