I googled it to put a link in the gross foods thread and found this mean review of Guy Fieri:

Nine Things You Probably Wouldn't Want to Eat At Guy Fieri's Restaurant Tex Wasabi's

Located in Santa Rosa, an agricultural hub in Sonoma County, Califtonia, Tex Wasabi's describes itself as "Rock-N-Roll Sushi-BBQ." Would you walk into a restaurant with a name like that? I did, figuratively speaking, and here are a few of the scarier items found on the menu:

Actually yes, I would happily walk into a restaurant billed as Rock-N-Roll Sushi BBQ. And none of those items sound scary to me at all - in face they sound pretty good. Not to mention when I ripped off his gringo sushi idea for a dinner party, it was a huge hit.

The comments on this piece all slam the author and tell him he's FOS. :yay:

That's all - I just wanted to gripe about this review.

I love watching Guy. Scarier items??? These sound yummy -

Screaming Gobbler Roll: Roasted turkey, jalapeños, pepper jack, avocados, green onions, mayonnaise, and sriracha mayonnaise wrapped in sushi rice and tapioca paper.
Tokyo Cobb Salad: Tempura shrimp, bacon, avocado, egg, tomatoes, and bleu cheese, on top of crisp lettuce, drizzled with bleu-sabi.

That whole sushi menu looks delish :yum:
I'd gladly try every one of those. Too bad the only restaurant is in CA, where I have no plans on visiting any time soon :ohwell:

Not that it is sushi, but one of the best burgers I have ever eaten was a Guy Fieri burger on a Carnival cruise ship. Still trying to decide if it was all the grease on the burger that made it good, or the caribbean sea breezes or the Green Iguana drinks...
