GSD found in Prince Fred/St Leonard

Sorry. no pictures....
Very friendly female Sherpherd, red collar too tight, no tags, no microchip. Found dodging traffic on 2/4 near St Leonard. Not leash trained, skinny. Brown face and body with some black on sides.
Called tri county and filed a report for a missing dog. We may have to take her there -the girl that picked her up cannot keep her and we can only keep her here for awhile.
Called Prince Fred animal hosp, too.
For now she is here at Pepper's (410) 326 4006

Oh no, so what happens when you can no longer keep her? Any idea how old?

If she goes to the shelter, they have to hold her for several days. I have the # of a GSD rescue and also someone stopped by from the Calvert Canine search & rescue team and they might possibly be able to help. If nothing else, I will try to get a rescue to pull her if we can find a foster home. She is a beautiful dog and very friendly.
My guess would be around 2 yo. She has nice teeth!

Any chance you can post a pic?, do you thin she's a purebread....not that that matters....:jerry:

She is at tri county. Time was running out and I did not know what to do with her. She was NOT leash trained and very much a hand full. I had no crates big enough for her. The lady that stopped to pick her up could not take her home.
BUT>>>>>I do have her ID # at the shelter and we will keep track of her. There are options if she is unclaimed. One of the ladies from Calvert K9 Search & Rescue Team came in and there may be a chance someone in their group will take her. I also have the info on the GSD Rescue north off here. I also have a lot of friends that do animal rescue and may spring her and we will figure something out. She will not be euthanized.

Please don't bash me. I did what I could do given the amount of time I had.

The GSD is still at Tri county and is up for adoption. She passed the temperment test and they told me they had room to keep her for now. Her # is 566-87.
Anyone out there want a beautiful girl to start out the new year with??

They have named her Ava and her pic and info are available on Tri county's website. Also in a thread by Dawn of adoptable animals.
