...tabs is guitar for idjits.

Look at the first one, Csus(tain)4. You're looking at a righty fret board as if held out in front of your face, strings left to right low E,A,D,G,B and high E, the thick black line at top is the nut.

The '2' is (assuming you are a righty) your right hand middle finger on the low E at 3rd fret.

Nothing is on the A string (they show an X which usually means mute this but I think that's wrong as this chord can be slid up and down the neck, so let it ring open)

'3' is you ring finger on the D string, third fret

'4' is your pinkie on g string 3rd fret

1 is your index finger on b srting 1st fret

the high e is to ring open.

This thing has, viola, a ring mellow, wow man, jazz flavor and can also be picked, mellow, leaving the 'X' strings unplayed for variety.
