I don't get the appeal of the GGS. While they poke fun of the left, I don't find that sophomoric humor style entertaining.

All these lousy late night hosts demonstrate the genius that was Johnny Carson and to a lesser extent, Jay Leno.

Johnny wasn’t above some really vulgar remarks. The one I’m thinking is - I think - Raquel Welch with a cat on her lap.

Vulgar comments and all, his shows were always entertaining. Plus they never got into politics. Ever hear a colbert monologue? It's hard left vitriol. No wonder republican baseball practices include random gunfire.

I remember when Bill Clinton went on Arsenio Halls' show. I think that was when the late night shows started to sort of lean into politics. Of course Trump had them all howling at the moon. Every night, nonstop. I'd wager a bet that on the late night shows, Trump was ridiculed more than all the other politicians were ridiculed combined. It was relentless. But the man delivered for the American people. Contrast that to the perpetual crap show that is the current administration. GG has a lot of material to work with, that is for sure.

Urban legend. Interestingly many people swear they watched it but it never happened much the same as the Trump alkleged quote: "If I were to run, I’d run as a Republican. They’re the dumbest group of voters in the country. "
