Does any one have experience with Guy Motors in Mechanicsville? Looking to have some mechanical work done on my car and was wondering if they do good work and are reasonably priced. Thank you in advance.

The few times I have used them I have been completely satisfied with their work and attitude. I give them two thumbs up. :yay: :yay:

I'm still smarting from a bill from Guy, BUT:

- They found the problem that two other garages missed, including the dealership :jameo: . I paid for two repairs that were symptoms, not causes.
- I've spoken to some car guys and the price was reasonable. High... but if I'd taken it anywhere else it would have been at least as much and I guess it's not their fault the &$(%# car broke.
- They took & worked on the car the day we called, when the dealership told us two weeks.
- Everyone I've talked to has mentioned them in their list of "won't rip you off" mechanics list.

So far I'm satisfied with their work (won't know if its fixed until it breaks again). If you ask me in a week I'll probably be less aggravated by the $$$, it was just a bad time for the car to break and nobody ever wants to go to the mechanic.

I have been using Guy Brothers Automotive in Mechanicsville for over a year now. There are great! Honest work and reasonably priced. I take all three of my vehicles there for maintenance, including a diesel pickup. Their mechanics are very knowledgeable and trustworthy. They use high quality products and employ the latest diagnostic tools and procedures. They perform BG product services as well as use Amsoil motor oil and filters. I highly recommend them.
