Anybody go there? Wondering if they provide childcare and the costs. I wasn't too impressed with Wildewood Pro Fitness- the lady did nothing but bad mouth the other gyms. lol.

TIA.

:howdy: My wife and I do... Her more than me

They provided child care (if you want to call it that) for your kids while you work out. Its included in the cost of the membership. I think we pay 30 a month per person.

Its a nice gym.

:howdy: I go there as well as Chasey and Smooth. We all really like it. I think the childcare hours are M-F 8-12 and 4-8, Saturday morning I go and the childcare is open and they do not offer it at all on Sunday.

Been a member of this gym since it opened 2 years ago. I used to work out at the ProFitness gyms in Wildewood and Lexington Park. This gym is very large, has new equipment, nice locker rooms, very clean, fun fitness classes both for children and adults, and has very friendly staff. The childcare is free, but only available from 8-12am and 4-8pm. If you are looking to sign up, it is $29/month w/$49 initiation fee. If you are military it is $19/month w/$49 initiation fee. If you sign up online, the initiation fee is waived and it is $29/month. I would recommend that you stop by and check it out for yourself.

Thanks. I'm definitely going to check it out. I'm hoping their equipment is a little newer.

i go to the profitness in wildewood, or i guess you could say i go... i've been twice... then i found out i was pregnant... i should REALLY be saving money and having a gym membership when your pregnant is pointless to me you can't do anything at the gym that you can't do at home... i called to see if i could cancel my membership, (i've only had it since february) they said no, that they could put it on hold which means that i still pay for it each month but don't go until after i have the baby and after i have the baby i can go without paying for however many months i've already paid ahead of time... at curves when you put your membership on hold you didn't have to pay... profitness just sucks... i really dont' like it at all... JMHO so much for saving the money...

You can't expect them to let you cancel your membership simply b/c you are pregnant. I worked out during my pregnancies, and see a lot of pregnant women at the gym each day.

If you don't think you can do more at the gym than you can at home, why'd you sign up for a membership in the 1st place?

Not true.... You can still workout, use weights, and machines and all that other stuff, just not as intense as you would while not pregnant, and they don't recommend doing ab exercises  or a few others that put a lot of strain in the stomach area.

You should have talked to a trainer or Mark(in Wildwood) about that..

You got a gym membership for ab exercises? If anything, that's what you might as well do at home.
Did you get the CD yesterday that Pig #1 delivered for me?
