I called Maximum Health & Fitness to see what their membership prices were and to see if they give a student discount. Well they said they dont give out prices over the phone but i would have to come in and talk to them. Im trying to save gas by calling around to the different places. So does anyone know their prices and prices of other gyms around here i would like to find the cheapest is possible. thanks :buddies: BTW im in st.marys county and would like to stay in the county.

World gym is 20-30 bucks a month depending on your discount. That's for a 2 year contract. You can also look into classes by recs and parks and csm if that's what you're looking for...less of a commitment.

World Gym in Lex Park is also 24hours during the week and like 7a-7p on the weekend. The one in Wildewood is 5a-10p during the week and 7a-7p on th weekend.

I pay $25 a month with a 2 year contract. My husband likes to switch between that an Maximum when the deals are better at one than the other. They'll buy out each other's contracts.

My husband also told me that a few years ago World offered to let him not pay for the months that he doesn't use the gym and tack them on to the end of his contract. Can anyone please confirm or deny that? I only use the gym in the winter months and whenever the weather is really bad (or like the Dismal Swamp fires last summer). It would be handy to be able to take those summer month payments and just rotate them around to the winter months when I actually use the gym. I just haven't been by to ask them if that's true.

Thanks! Now i just have to see which one is cheaper out of the 2 im leaning more towards the other one because of the location. I really dont wanna be south of california at 2 am alone lol

Don't blame you there. If you want to try WG for a short period, we have a 3-mo special for $99/3mo. Not as good as a"corporate" rate but it's a short term trial and gives you access to all the WG gyms on this side of the bridge and the Calvert side if you're ever over there
