UMMMM ok, I think you should live in a bubble..considering that everytime you get in your car and drive to work you are polluting the air and putting your own if not everyone elses life in danger as well. So get off your high horse!
This is by far the lamest response I get from smokers. Please get a clue.

Wahooooooo.... You can't smoke in bars and restaurants anymore as of Feb 1.

I'm loving SOMD more and more each day!

Maybe someday the inbreeding that goes on around here will stop and the term "SMIB" will just be a fond memory for most of you.

Blue is beautiful no matter how much you hate him. As I fly around I will be dropping my turd bombs on smokers.
First what does the inbreeding comment have to do with smoking??

Second if you commute (and most people do in this area) then you are breathing exhaust fumes through your vents by sitting in traffic and are definitely doing more harm to your lungs than getting second hand smoke from my cigarette.

I'm usually pretty polite with my smoking, but eff that and eff you. When I make it up to Maryland at the end of the month, I'm going to chain smoke to get my time in before Feb. 1st. Then I'm going to follow you around and smoke.

They were which is why have so many health issues today....

Severe allergies, asthmas and some brain damage since my mother chose to smoke 3 packs a day while she was pregnant.
I have a neighbor with severe allergies, asthma, alas no brain damage, whose mom or dad never smoked a day in thier life. Another neighbor whose mom and dad smoked 2 packs a day for 20 years, no problem at all, totally healthy. How do you explain that? How can you PROVE that you are sick because of your mom's smoking?
You can't solve all health and mental issues by banning smoking in bars.

So you would encourage every parent to smoke 2 packs a day indoors in the presence of their children?

I really love the mentality around here. By the way, I don't have to prove anything. Scientific evidence supports my claims. Some people are more likely to become ill than others. To say that exposure to cigarette smoke is a non contributor to my respiratory distress is just asinine!

Me thinks you belong in these parts! :lmao:

Wait a second, you said your mom smoking 3 packs a day while prego made you sick.... I'm saying that statistically(sp) it can happen to a non-smoker also. There is scientific evidence to support that too
But by banning smoking in all eating and drinking establishments, this does.....what?

Me thinks you belong in these parts! :lmao:[/
Thanks, I think I'll stay

I do believe the smoking ban is going to hurt the bar business. I can support not smoking in restaurants, but to apply it to bars is not reasonable. It is going to hurt those business owners.

Blue, I'm just a little confused here. Didn't you say in another post recently that you just started smoking about a month ago, loved it and were not going to give it up? If that's the case - what's with the sudden about face - again - since Green Hornet already started an anti-smoking theme to begin with? :jameo:

finally other states are following Cali

It is so nice to go to a bar or restaurant that there is not a smokle cloud overhead. I am moving from San Diego and bringing this with me.

You must be a military member/spouse..stay in CA

Southern Maryland is much 'cleaner' than San Diego..air-wise, crime-wise, job-wise.

What exactly are you bringing with you? some California attitude? If so, you will never experience the true Maryland..So what do you want? Clean Air???

I hate entitlted #######s. Yeah, you're not going to like it here.:pete:

Blah.. Blah...Blah
My question is this .. At what point is it going to end? Lets say I own a business. If I own the property, and pay taxes ...what gives the government the right to tell me what I can and cannot do with my business? If I want to have smoking at my establishment, I should be allowed to. If you don't like that there is smoking allowed at a business It's quite simple. Don't go there. So smoking is banned... What's next taco bell, mcdonalds, starbucks?
