hair stylists in Leonardtown

I have read that Leonardtown is a good place to get a good haircut, but can anyone recommend a name of a stylist that is good with shoulder length hair?
Thanks!

I was going to recommend one until you said shoulder-length. Unfortunately, she only works on individuals with hair beyond their shoulders. :ohwell:

Maybe not Leonardtown, but there's a few good places in Great Mills/California -- I go to Ronnie's Shear Designs on Chancellors Run Road next to Greenview Knolls Elementary. Both Ronnie and Brenda do great work on any length of hair, and Brenda is great for coloring. :yay: Good luck!

In Leonardtown there's a Unique Chic near the Food Lion. The place is kind of run down, but my wife loves it there. She really likes a stylist named Renee H. Renee did a fine job with my wife's hair, which seems to be difficult for most stylists.

Renee is a recent divorcee with a real attitude problem and doesn't like men. She has a lot of insults to dish out, especially when she thinks you're not listening. That's okay though, because I didn't like her, either.
However, being honest, I have to say she did a good job. According to her card, she works Monday 12:30 - 7:30, Wednesday 9 - 8, Friday 9 - 3, Saturday 9 - 4, and every other Sunday 10 - 2. The phone number at Unique Chic is (301) 475-5272.

If you're getting color (highlights especially) w/your cut, I recommend Michelle at the S-Kape in Leonardtown.

Wow! this is who I was going to recommend. But she's on maternity leave right now until sometime in September. I got my hair trimmed the other day there and Brenda there did a great job. I have just below shoulder length, very fuzzy and naturally wavy hair and she did an excellent job! Until I went to S-kape in Leonardtown and spent a few extra bucks for a great cut, I had nothing but crap cuts from everywhere else in St. Marys/Charles/Calvert counties. (been here almost 5 years)
I think anyone at S-kape will do a great job. They are required to go to so many trade shows and fashion things each year to keep up with trends and styles. Not like places like Unique chic or other I guess you would call discount cut places.
Hope this helps!

Thanks, all these recommendations help. I should have said that I am looking for a stylist that does just above the shoulder with layers. (I know certain stylists excel at different types of haircuts). Seems like the ones mentioned already could handle the job.

I know one person. She's lives & works in Lex.Park In Hair Cuts Plus. Jackie Rubeen.

I'm having my hair cut by April at S-kape next month. I haven't tried her yet, but several of my co-workers said that she did a great job. Has anyone else gone to her before?

No, I've only gone to Michelle; but they all seem pretty good there.
