Wow, memories! I saw quite a few of those bands at HammerJacks and Wilmer's Park! Great White is a great bar band, I've seen them alot at Jaxx in Springfield. I remember you could go to the Capital Centre and see 3 or 4 big name bands for like $12.50. Those were the days.

I like the way you threw Steel Dragon in there. Rockstar is one of my favorite movies.

Hair bands are the embodiment of our cultural intellectual vapidity. In sports, Americans have an affection for the best; fastest, strongest, toughest; winning.

In music and beer, we want cheap and are far more concerned with appearance than quality.

I can understand women and their attraction to hair bands; hair and make up tips and tricks. Plus, the lyrics are romance novels come to life.

I also understand guys being attracted to something that attracts the women. It's like why do bank robbers rob banks? It's not the bank or the bands per se; it's where the money is.

What I find troubling and the epitome of the Alan Alda-ing of our nation is people who actually like hair bands.

Oh, the Horror.
