Halloween costumes for midsize kids in St Mary's?

I have been to Target, Kmart, Walmart, and Joanne's, looking for Halloween costumes. There are plenty for adults, and plenty for toddlers, but not much in the late-elementary-school-aged-boy range. Is there anywhere in the county where I could find a costume? Or do I need to go to Waldorf?

What are you looking for? You could always just make your own costume out of a cape or any sports gear you have laying around, you may just need to get creative.

Now this was early last week, but the Spirit Halloween store in LaPlata, (the old Safeway) had alot of costumes for all ages.
There is also one of these stores in Waldorf, in the shopping center with Shoppers and Value City.

The one in LaPlata is a lot better than the one in Waldorf imo. The Waldorf store was a mess and didn't have very many boy type costumes. Mostly adult and girls.

Depending on what part of St Mary's County you are in (thinking close to California due to the stores you've gone to). There is/was last year a Spirit or Halloween store in San Souci Plaza, I found my son's costume there last year. Depending on your son's age and size he can have that one for free.

I hate spending money like that on an outfit worn only for about two hours that they will never fit in again. But, it's about the children so what are you going to do.
