NO the county stamp is not for participating in Halloween. You don't need one for that. They are basically so you are allowed in the county fairs, oyster festivals, etc that the military are not allowed in.
what no county fair sept. 21-24th? gosh you are really bumming me out now...they reason why I didn't get a license here was because they were going to make me do everything all over again. The written portion and the driver's ed. I did not have time for that considering I was pregnant!

Crap. We didn't have to worry about all this crap before the dumb old military started taking over.

I'm going to get my stamp this week. That covers me for all of the above, but I still need to register for Halloween. So how much is the stamp?
they've actually gone down a little bit this year....250

That requires a stamp too, right?
A stamp and a shot from the Health Department. Those celebrations can get a little wild, if you know what I mean.

Are you making fun of our sacred holiday?

St. Mary's is steeped in history and the original capital of Maryland was in St. Mary's City. We take our traditions and values very seriously around here.
No I am not making fun at all....oh I know this place is very rich in history as is Virginia, where I am from...just very interesting!

the only thing getting that stamp does is lowers the cost of the fair entry and food and tickets for rides. if you have the stamp showing you're local everything is 60% off, if you're not local you have a 20% increase in prices.

Good thing I wasn't military. I didn't have to take no stinking tests. They handed me my licence along with a key to the city. :yay:
