US citizens are protected by that very citizenship. They could be charged for illegal activities that they do when part of the mob - menacing, not moving along when directed by authorities. I think if cities get rid of no cash bail and actually started charging people, holding them for court proceedings, and use the teeth of current laws a lot of this crap would end. If students who disrupt campus activities were removed from campus and expelled with the loss of their tuition money, a lot of this crap would end. I would love to see if any profs were offering credit (extra or otherwise) for participating in the crap.

Hamas opened this can of whoop-ass on themselves. They decided to attack Israelis in their homes and in recreational areas and conducted horrific deeds which they proudly filmed and posted for the propagana effect. They are the ones who deliberately choose to hide among civilians. They claim to be the government of Gaza, but they give their citizens NO CHOICE. How many elections have there been in Gaza since they came into power? NONE!! They are terrorists. Any innocents who are lost due to this mess belong on Hamas' doorstep. They could have ended it at any time since they started it on Oct 7th. The amount of aid money that has been poured into Gaza would have been much better served assisting its citizens instead of funding those terrorists. You can shove your "For your consideration".

These protests are more that "disagreements" they are blocking traffic, threatening others, interfering with student's abilities to get to class, threatening Jewish students and more. That is much more that a simple protest.
