Larry Gude
Strung Out
...
At first, I wasn't real happy about this;
http://www.nypost.com/entertainment/20837.htm
(Hannity plays Berg execution audio replete with screams and a gurgling finale where it is obvious Berg is now dead)
He's playing a murder, a killing, an execution.
Then, I read Hannity's explanation;
And it became clear.
When Rodney King was resisting arrest, what were we shown? His beating, the worst part, out of context, over and over again.
Why were we told that the only thing that mattered was the actual violence?
So we can face what we are dealing with.
Not the why, not the lead up, not that the cops are human, with emotions and fears and families to go home to. Not that other resources they had to take down criminals, nets and other non-lethals, were removed from their arsenal as 'inhumane'.
We were only shown that cops are vicious thugs whose only wish is to be able to beat up on defenseless, innocent minorites.
So, now, the Berg tape.
And the double standard comes flying out again. Had this met the agenda of the major media, as did King until the facts came out, we'd see Nick getting murdered every 2 minutes. In slo-mo.
Now, nobody needed to see Rodney King's tape to know what was very much likely, and as it turns out, the truth; thug breaks law, resists arrest, gets beaten.
Not killed. Not beheaded. Not even seriously injured compared to what the officers could have done.
Nobody needs to see Nick Berg either.
He was executed, intentionally, and in a planned, staged fashion by people who will gladly kill each and every one of you and me and yours and mine to fit the demands of their religion.
And that is the point. That fact does not fit the agenda. The major media would rather you think Don Rumsfeld and a bunch of reservist prison guards and the LA cops are out to get us all and the coverage proves it.
The idea of Muslims cutting your head off or mine or your childs in the name of their god, over and over, does not fit the agenda...
And the coverage proves it.
We heard endlessly how animalistic and out of control the cops were. How out of control the guards are.
The people who executed Nick Berg on camera?
Events, we're told, excuse them. They have reasons. They need to be understood so we can deal with OUR mistakes better in the future.
And the coverage proves it.
I think every single person who felt a shred of sympathy for Rodney King should have Nick Berg on DVD and go home and watch it and educate yourself.
Rodney King refused to comply. I kept waiting for the cops to pull a sidearm and shoot him in the leg.
I haven't seen Nick Berg.
I won't.
I don't need to.
We're investigating why prisoners of war were forced to wear womens panties because we are responsible.
Wonder who will investigate Nick Bergs execution? Who will be responsible?

Then, I read Hannity's explanation;
"I think people need to know what we're dealing with - it's evil right before your eyes,"
"These people want to kill all Americans, not just this poor kid, Nick Berg,"
And it became clear.
