Did the Tall Timbers brunch with my younger daughter and received a Happy Fud Day call from older daughter on the drive home....the latter currently in Riga, Latvia.

I got a card saying you think this Fathers day card is crap, you should see your future care home.

My two youngest took me out for dinner. Was nice.

Of all the things I got for Father’s Day - the best was the praise from my youngest that she posted on social media. This is a kid who in real life acts surly and disagreeable around me, as though I do everything wrong. She’s a teenager.

But what she wrote for the world to see almost made me cry. Almost.
