I stopped by my neighbor's tonight, and they were in the process of celebrating Festivus. I have heard people say "Happy Festivus", but I did not know it was an actual holiday--I just thought it was another way of saying "Happy Holidays"--you know, a greeting that includes everyone. This is the first time I'd actually met someone who actually celebrated it.
Here is a web site with some information:
Festivus: a new secular, family celebration on DEC-23
According to the web site, it is catching on with the "one out of four Americans who does not identify with either Christianity, Judaism, or Wicca".
I am curious, who here celebrates Festivus?
Happy Festivus!
