Man kills mother, self with saw

LA HABRA, Calif., May 10 (UPI) -- Police in La Habra, Calif., say a man decapitated his mother with a circular saw before fatally turning the tool on his own neck.
Police said they were not sure why Arthur Ruiz -- who died of severe neck injuries -- killed himself and his mother, Guadalupe Ruiz, The Los Angeles Times reported Wednesday.
Lt. Jerry Price said the two bodies were discovered on separate beds in the same room after a 911 call brought police to the scene. Three other adults and two juveniles were also in the home when police arrived, Price said.
