Hard Times Cafe

Has anyone ever dined at one of these restaurants? Is it any good? I was in Waldorf today and saw that the old Pier One Imports building (by Burger King) will be a Hard Times Cafe. The sign is on the building, but it's not ready yet.

I just looked at their menu online and it sounds good!

...good service and a good selection of beer in every one I've ever been in.

Everything is at least good. Some real good. Terlingia Red is the chili to have.

The one in Alexandria is awesome!!! And Larry is right, the Terlingua is to die for! :yum:
I've been to VA locations as well, but never the MD ones. The restaurants over all have quite a following! :yay:

The one in Old Town used to be the regular lunch watering hole for me, and I used to go to the one in Rockville years back. Great place, glad it is coming to town.

They have great Chili a little pricey but good. If you want to taste something similar before they open, The Shoppers Food Store in the same center sells in the spice section I think, the take home Hard Times Brand ingredients. The box has two packages that requires two pounds of beef for each package and one can of beef gravy. It actually tastes close to the Texas Style that Hard Times Sells.

Your mother should not have serviced retards while she worked the red light district. You're obviously the product of a polluted gene pool.
