Harrington Ham

Figured this particular forum could use something other than the disastrous housing bubble that is now blowing us all away, and those of us who own homes are SUCKERS!

Anyway, fifteen minutes ago UPS knocked on my back door and left two boxes on my deck. I don't know why they don't ring the front doorbell, but that's a different story. I see the guy knock and I go to get my boxes.

EWW! The bottom is wet. I see it's from Harrington Ham and supposedly is packed on dry ice.

I open the boxes and there is oodles of thawed out pig parts (still kind of cool...barely to the touch, but not cold or frozen) There is an empty (and not sealed) package in each box with moisture on the inside. I am assuming this was the dry ice. In the past, all dry ice I've seen has been in a sealed package.

I've called the company and all operators are busy. I left a message.

I know you are all waiting with baited breath waiting to hear the outcome of this.

Here's a pic that I took. Remember...I just received this at 2:45.

Did he call you fat?

Maybe Patch is the UPS guy and saw me through the sliding glass door.

I consider myself "well nourished" and "healthy" looking, but somebody else might consider me fat. :ohwell:

I feel really bad now. I mean, here it is your birthday, your house is dropping in value, your pork dinner showed up thawed out, and you looked in the mirror and your reflection said "somebody else might consider me fat."

Yes. My home is dropping in market value (boo-hoo) I received spoiled pork and some people might consider me fat. :killingme

I have a home and don't plan on selling it, plenty of food and don't care what other people think.

Just my way of saying :bday:

Thank you.

Still waiting on my phone call from Harrington's. They only ship one day a week and I'm thinking they had some major problems.

If anybody got anything delivered from UPS today that smells like ham, you know why. :jameo:
