What does he like? There is Wolfermans.com that I send my dad. It's English muffins and stuff like that. For coffee try Greenmountaincoffee.com.. Google what he likes+gift baskets.

He likes food and has everything/tool/gadget/whatever he could ever need or use. And if he mentions he does need something, he'll go out and buy it himself :ohwell:

Jameo, pick this! You can get a basket with several flavors of English muffins or scones, with these kickass preserves or flavored honey. Everyone I've ever sent these to raves about them.

We bought my parents the Fruit of the Month Club for Christmas last year from Harry and David. My father "tactfully" told me @ 6 months into it "Don't buy us that again, it was a good idea, but we weren't impressed with the quality of some of the fruit and for the price...". He wouldn't go into detail so I couldn't complain to the company, not sure if they would have "redeemed" themselves or not. Hickory Farms has been around forever, "tried and true"?!

For a guy, yea. :ohwell: Plus, if he's a common sense kinda guy, he might :blahblah: about spending that much for fruit you could buy in the store. :ohwell:

If he's "older" (in that he needs help with some stuff), maybe toss in a self-made coupon book he can use where if he needs his yard mowed, you'll come do it for him ... or if he needs the house cleaned (not man-cleaning where they turn the ceiling fan on to dust ), you'll come over.

Older folks are always hard to shop for cuz they usually have everything, and they biatch about what you get 'em that they didn't have.

I think I might send some to my grandma, she just had her hip replaced. I was gonna send flowers, but this seems way cooler. :yay:

My BIL is an excellent home chef so I usually send him a gift certificate from King Arthur Flour which is located next town over in Vermont so he can go buy what he needs. Williams Sonoma online is also good for that stuff.
