I work at a Pontiac Dealer and the G8 is a REALLY nice vehicle! Yes they are pricey but would deffinatly be worth it!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I was just approved for financing to get an '09 G-8 (Premium and Sport Packages): $29,758.00 "out the door"; unless the dealer I'm talking to is "yankin' me." Then I talked to the loan officer at my credit union and was informed they finance 100% of the new car price
including tax/title/tags. I wound up with a $472.52/month payment for 72 months @ an interest rate I can't remember right now. That's about the
only thing I can't remember, is the interest rate; but at least I'm heading in the right direction before the economy takes a dump again.
I keep hearing, "Now's the time." "Now's the time to apply for great financing;" all that kinda noise.
Well, now that I've done it. I may need to eat PB&J's for a little while, but I've got a new ride.
I'm picking it up this weekend (WOO!-HOO!)
if I can find somebody to drive my old car back to the house. I'm thinking about giving it to my Dad so he can have something to run around town with. My car is slightly better on gas than his P/U, so I figured, 'why not?' Besides, he just dumped a wad of cash into it to get the A/C/heating system working again.
Now, I'll have to check what kind of mileage my 'new toy' gets.
