Here is a normal citizen reporting what he knows. He calls it a civil war. I've been watching this guy and his family for 2 years and he's legit. He learned English by watching movies.

Zerohedge has a good compilation of updates:

Mr. Sheekoz from the above video states that Wagner is a private military group. Blackwater? Blackwater? He said many of the current members were recruited from prisons; 6 months of service for their freedom. They must have seen the Dirty Dozen?

Saw a couple other opinions on this.

I have even less a conjecture than I had before.

I didn’t realize until a little while ago that a column was in fact, encroaching upon Moscow. I guess it follows what I did know - Wagner had taken Rostov on Don and later, Voronezh. Makes sense now, because it’s on the road to Moscow which is just a straight drive north. This would be like tanks rolling towards New York from DC and stopping at Philly. It was a real threat.

But why would he stop? Being basically mercenaries I figured they got paid off. Another opinion I heard this morning was that Prigozhin was expecting a lot more support from military leaders IN Moscow to be with him. When they didn’t step up and some appeared to side with Putin he realized it wasn’t going to work.

So what will happen now? He’s persona non grata in Russia and I can’t see Putin letting it go. But you also can’t assassinate a leader of 50k criminal mercenaries.

It does look like a minor win for Ukraine who may find themselves no longer fighting Wagner and it may expose a clear fear - Russia fears invasion.

Looks like he'll be granted safe asylum in Belarus....if emerging news is accurate.

Enemies of Putin inevitably seem to suffer from random encounters with lethal poisons.
And Prigozhin knows that - so why make a deal? And “exiled” to Russia’s most loyal ally? Something else is going on. Maybe a deal involved deposing Putin?

Watch the movie Spartacus. Instead of slaves, mercenaries. The Russians have 25,000 armed mercenaries roaming their country and their leadership just took a sht. Who pays them now, who feeds them who supplies them. They cannot be allowed to just roam the country. Will they go back and fight in Ukraine again?

The way i see it no matter what happens Russia is in turmoil and leadership on every side is threatened.
A lot of people in Russia are pissed at this war that was being fought with mercenaries they didn't care about, but now their families are seeing their sons have to finish it. Is Putin threatened with a fall? Get out your pop corn this aint over.

Saw lots of videos of troops moving around the cities and tanks rolling down the streets. Didn't see a single shot fired. Makes me think this is for show.

The majority of Ukraine fighters are mercenaries too, but who is paying them? I think we all know the answer to that. This is beginning to be a daytime drama, but with nukes.

Too long, but a couple minutes is enough:

Exactly right. I predict the leader of the Wagner Group will disappear as other Putin adversaries have.
See, that would be the case if Putin's adversary were just a journalist or politician. This man has an army. AND he had a chance to advance on Moscow and changed his mind - and they offered him "exile" in Belarus, drop all charges and none of his men suffer any consequences - in fact, any of them can contract again with the Russian government without reprisal.

So either it's a complete lie, or something ELSE is going on. What I heard was one, this guy has a LOT of appeal to a lot of Russians who want the war to be over. Two, he was REALLY banking on different oligarchs in Moscow switching to his side - since one of the inducements for the war for THEM was a boon from taking over the Donbas region - which they haven't been seeing.

They didn't join him. So invading Moscow wasn't going to be like Rostov on Don - a bloodless walk-in. Ditto Voronezh. Moscow would be a battle, and he could "win" but not for long.

So what was the deal he made? He KNOWS who Putin is - he KNOWS that Putin kills his enemies and people who make him look bad. So why exile to Belarus? Why not as far from Moscow as possible?

Something is happening, I just don't know what.
