Life in the Galloping Lane, by the O'Connor's?
Great little book with some fabulous pictures. Their lives are a nice illustration of the value of perseverance and dedication. They both come off as very cool people you’d love to know. David, his mom and brother trekked from Maryland to Oregon by horseback and Karen's stories of her early life with horses are things I'm sure we can all relate to. I’ll try to get my library copy back asap so it will be available.
