the movie "Marley and me"?

Hubby bought me the book for Valentines day a couple of years ago  and I loved it.
We went and saw it at the movies last night and it was great. I highly recommend the movie and I also suggest you have a pocket full of tissues.

As owners of labs, the entire family read the book and saw the movie New Years Eve. The movie was both funny and sad. However, like most, the book was much better.

The book was on the best sellers list for a long time. I love his style of writing and did enjoy the book tremendously.
Been years since hubby and I have been in a movie theatre- it was fun!:popcorn:

The only problem with dog books is that they always end with tears. Try Merle's Door for an incredible dog book. Just don't read the last chapters!

Death is a part of life...it is unfortunate animals are only in our lives a short time. I grieve the loss of some of my pets more than *some* of the (human)people I have lost.

Yes, that is the truth. The relationship differs a lot from people to pets. Not saying an animals life is more worthy, just my relationship with my pet was more full filling....
