Has G-d Been protecting Israel?

There are several accounts of this being so, but I'll post links to the two most talked about ones:

Link to where an Iron Dome operator said the Iron Dome failed to shoot down a rocket and out of no where a strong gust of wind he calls the Hand of G-d, swept the incoming missile out to sea.

There is also an article about a Hamas terrorist saying that "their G-d" diverts the missiles. But I can only find the article in Hebrew and can't locate an English one. So : shrug:

So, what say you? Is G-d protecting Israel? Was this foretold?

Back in the early 80's I had the pleasure of sitting in a helo with a group of egyptian soldiers and one air traffic controller. The 6 day war was of great pride to them, they were the only Arab army allowed to ever walk off the field of battle with their arms in their possession.

The interesting point of his story was what the Egyptian army saw when in the midst of battle and why they felt they lost the battle.

"During the course of a battle in which we were defeating the occupiers of Palestine, above their army appeared horses and with angels on their back. Our soldiers were so overwhelmed we lost the will to continue the battle."

HAMAS should be considering themselves lucky that they are battling a much more reserved Israeli government then that of the 60's and 70's.

I have no doubt they are being protected by God.
