I know someone who broke a rib coughing. Had some bronchial thing and he said he felt it when it popped.

Puts a new literal meaning to 'gas and go'. All jokes aside, I've never had anything like this before, I think the closest I've had was either coughing enough to make my throat hurt or any combination of sneezing/blowing nose hard enough to pop an ear open or closed.
