Back to our regular schedule. We have a hay auction tomorrow. Square bales are going around $3 to $6 with most being on the lower end. I bought some very nice hay last time for $3.50 and was VERY pleased. Rounds are going from $30 to $45. Some very nice quality hay. Some crappy rounds available for around $10. Straw is going around $3.00 a bale. Alfalfa going for around $5 a bale.
Auction starts at 12:00. Get there early to view the hay. Please come and support your local hay farmers.
Auciton located in Cheltenham (near Brandwine) on Route 301 next to the Veterans Cemetary in the State Building. Will load rounds and we try to help load the squares. This is a all-volunteer organization.
