I've got the scanner on and there is something going on, but I missed it. I'll post if I hear anything else. Something about a "package" also.

i was outside and came in and hear it going on in down in the park somewhere...i cant get any "real info" for it other then its almost 2 hours long

Its a Hazmat Situation at Cooks Liquors. A 100 Gallon Propane tank tipped over and is leaking Propane. They have there, Chief 3, Engine 33, Engine 32, Squad 3, Engine 62, Engine 63, Engine 92, Chief 100, Hazmat 181, Hazmat 18, MSU5, Tanker 4, Utility 79, St. Mary's Emergency Safety Vehicle from Fireboard. Sheriff Office, MSP, also a couple othhers.

At this time, Rt 5 is shut down both ways from Cooks Liquors, also Hermanville Road to. This call is now 2 hours into the Incident.

They also have Engine 132 from Pax River at a Fill in for Co. 3 Quarters at this time to.

They also had there before Amb 388 and Amb 398 for a stand by, but now they went to the hospital for medicals problems of 2 patients. One was Trouble Breathing and the other was just for checkup.

Also Amb 389 and Amb 69 our on Stand-By on the scene along side with Utility 39.

I think someone said they were "checking their package." I think it checked out okay.

Also this Propane tank was so what close to a Vehicle, and they are at this time, checking around the vehicle.

I think I'll crawl downstairs with my gas mask on and shut the propane off to my gas fireplace. I'm all worried now.

They have also evacuated people from homes around Cooks Liquors when this Incident started for safety.

They are basically now doing is, watering down the propane a little, so they can clean it up easier.

Atleast 1 More hour atleast that the roads will be closed around the Hazmat Situation authorrity of Opperations on the Scene.

They are now at about 2 Hours and 45 Mins into the Incident.

All they are doing is still investigating the Tank of Propane, and cleaning up partially, this Incident might be a while still. But when this incident is done, i will be receiving a file of the ncident when all Units are clear of the scene and Units are in Quarters.

When this call came in there was only one Engine on the Road. Until Chief 3 marked up and said start more Units to the scene, when ECC found out it was a Propane tank. They have Units on the scene that came as far as of Seventh District and Hollywood.
