Head Boats

Are there any head boats down here that do nothing but bottomfish. My grandfather is coming down and he only likes to bottomfish.

Not sure, but I'd give them a call anyway. The used to have BIG headboat, and I know that boat got sold a few years ago. Even if they do have a headboat, you will have to be VERY specific about bottom fishing only.

Thanks for all the recommendations. I really dont care what kinda fish we are catching as long as we are catching fish. If I spend $450 to go fishing I want to catch something other than a buzz. I can do that along the shore for free.

True enough... a good Capt and Mate should know where the fish are, and be able to find them for you.

We had an evening trip thursday and we caught our limit of Stripers to 30" with some blues mixed in (Trolling). Then added some croaker to boot(bottom fishing)!

Its nice to see the blues around Solomons, but I hear they are so plentiful further down the bay that the trollers can't catch any stripers! Amazing.
