LEONARDTOWN, MD (August 3, 2020) – Due to St. Mary’s County Government building closures and the impending predicted weather conditions from Tropical Storm Isaias, the St. Mary’s County Health Department (SMCHD) is announcing closures at its main office in Leonardtown and the Harm Reduction Program office located at 46035 Signature Lane in Lexington Park on Tuesday, August 4, 2020.
Additionally, the COVID-19 Testing Sites will be closed at both locations on Tuesday. COVID-19 disease investigation and outbreak control response efforts will continue despite the building closures. Normal operations are expected to resume on Wednesday, August 5, 2020.
