Hi, everyone

Just wanted to let you all know Equihab has some nice horses in its program that need homes. All Equihab horses are quarantined, healthy, seen by a vet before being up for adoption, up to date on shots/coggins/farrier/dental, and microchipped. The vet does a basic exam for soundness & health, and we do full disclosure: you're welcome to look at our vet's findings, talk to withthe vet, get written records, etc.

Here are just a few currently needing new homes:

Really calm, well behaved 13 y/o TB gelding, 16hh. Was last a teen's trail horse, but he was "too slow and quiet" for her, so she got an ex-racing arabian. Good manners, stands for farrier, no vices, behaves when stalled. Adoption fee of $750 includes all vetting, shots, farrier expenses.. and free delivery within 60 miles of the office in North East 21901. Ask for "Cody"

Nice moving, sensible, sound smaller (15.1hh) QH gelding, about 5ish yrs old. Show potential in english or western. Handsome, sane, and healthy! He was given a poor start to life, then dumped for slaughter. We restarted him and have him going under saddle doing basic work, but not yet showing/competing. Adoption fee of $750 includes all vetting, shots, farrier expenses.. and free delivery within 60 miles of the office in North East 21901. Ask for "CHIP"

A pair of quiet smaller belgian geldings just arrived Monday. Friendly, hansome, loads, ties. We're told they're well broke for riding and driving. Former owner wanted to do more logging and did a trade-in for a larger team at a big broker's yard in NY, and these guys were just unlucky and almost shipped to slaughter. Vet is due out to see them before they're adopted, but

Lots of other nice horses for riding, driving/harness, and companion-only use.

Does my butt look big?
The only problem with that is with having babies and bred mares on the farm (not to mention show horses) Most of those horses really come in sick..the feed lots are all contaminated with shipping fever (strangles) I have seen so many horses that come from a place like this and be on deaths door...
