I heart CLeValley
My husband knows I married him for his money and he's okay with it.
CLeValley said he had money when we were dating, but I found out after I married him he was just as poor as I was, so I stayed married to him anyway, just to give me someone to torture.

I thought it was a tire vs a chair? Can we see this plus the Thai restaurant at the same time?
I am working on this - have not figured out the logistics, but I have a chance to work on wifie's and three other forumites boxes... I think I am going to need some Power-Bars and Gatorade for this.

If I can get all of them together up at the parking lot across from the Thai restaurant this Friday or Saturday night, I will have a heck of a time trying to figure out what to keep my eyes on! :lmao:

I am trying to keep it going in a semi-straight fashion... but when the train de-railed and with all the metal clanging noise, DanceMom thought it was coin dropping from her old-man's pocket and she ran for it.
So we are going that route... hell, it is her thread! :killingme
Okay. Whatever floats her boat!! So I guess it's finders keepers?

I don't have a husband, but if I did, probably love, money and sex. So I guess I just have to settle for CHEESECAKE because with my trac record I'll end up with someone that has no :huggy:  :smoochy: :nomoney: no nuttin'.

UGH! How depressing!

They call me ... Sarcasmo
No Ruth's Chris or Cheesecake Factory

Hold the Cheesecake

The long-standing rumor that a Cheesecake Factory restaurant is coming to Charles County has become something of a local retail legend.

But now it has been put to rest for good -- or at least for the moment.

A well-traveled scuttlebutt that the restaurant chain would open a location in St. Charles is untrue, said Edwin Kelly, president of American Community Properties Trust, the developer of St. Charles. There also are no plans for a Ruth's Chris Steak House to open in the region, another frequent topic of discussion.

"Neither of those restaurants are interested in coming," Kelly said, although he added that the outlook could change as the county grows.

County Commissioner Reuben B. Collins II (D-Waldorf) asked about the rumors during a meeting between the commissioners and senior staff of the developer, ACPT, saying he receives questions about the restaurants from constituents at least once a week. The inquiry drew knowing laughs from Collins's fellow commissioners, who said they hear their own fair share of Cheesecake Factory talk.

Kelly said ACPT had reached out to the Cheesecake Factory, Ruth's Chris and other restaurants to consider St. Charles, but had not received favorable responses. Still, officials said the county's rising median income has drawn many similar restaurants -- Carrabba's Italian Grill and Boston's The Gourmet Pizza, among others -- and promised that more are on the way.

For the price of housing down here, we should have stayed....why do you hate, I bet you wish you had a husband so you didn't have to work either. It's the NY way...distinguished men would never have their wives work.
I'm just reading this thread so I'm sorry if I repeat what others have said.

That's a load of crap. Get over yourself. It's not the NY way, it's your way. Don't make it sound like all New Yorkers are like you because I will say this - you are the only one I've heard that attitude from. I was born & raised in NY and lived there for 30 years. I moved out of NY in 2004, then moved back there for 8 months before moving down to Calvert County last fall. NY women want more for their future than being a housewife/maid. They want careers of their own. Not everyone wants to be a maid, spending their days cooking, cleaning, doing laundry and having no purpose in life other than waiting on their hubby all day & night. Stay at home Mom, that's different. How great to be able to raise your own children if you can afford to. But if you don't have kids, get a job.

Some of us take pride in having great careers and being able to be self sufficient if need be. When your hubby leaves you for his secretary, how will you support yourself? Or will you stay with him while being disrespected because you can't support yourself? BTW, not all men like women who don't use their brains and act like stepford wives.

You're nothing more than a golddigger.
Exactly, that's very obvious. Well ya know, all of us New York women are golddiggers - that's why we go for those distinguished men. :sarcasm: :eyebrow:

I almost wonder if she's really this high on herself or if she's acting this way to try to cover up a huge lack of self worth. Just an observation, since she's on here judging everyone else.

It's great that she and her hubby can afford for her to stay home and raise her kids. My Mom stayed home until my brother and I were in school. I'll be doing the same when we have kids. But I will never, ever sit here and say that I am better than everyone because hubby works his butt off to make a good living. Something tells me this one will never go back to work, even when her kids are older. Based on her comments, she married for the money.
