Hearing: Bill about Lack Of Minority Car Dealers

This year, the one, bill HB 897, which is being heard today, really blows my mind.

The bill creates a task force to study why Maryland doesn’t have many minority-owned car dealerships and how the state can remedy the situation by pressuring car makers and bankers to grant more car franchises to minorities!

Dels. Curt Anderson, Nathanial Oaks, Shawn Tarrant, Talmadge Branch, Barbara Robinson, Cheryl Glenn and Frank Conaway and five other state delegates are pushing for passage of the bill.

Again, there is a hearing on the bill today at 1 p.m.
