Hi, Can anyone recommend a good reliable heat pump contractor. We need maintenance and possible repair. Also anyone we should avoid! Our original contractor is no longer available. Thanks

Southern Maryland Heat and Air right up the street in Waldorf ask for Dave

Avoid Jiffy Plumbers Heating and AC. Had them out to check why our a/c wasn't functioning - freon leak, older heat pump.

They replaced the heat pump with a less efficient pump, and it had a terrible freon leak that the company refused to replace the pump = forced us to call them over and over. Just days before the warrenty expired, they "found" this huge leak because somebody didn't tighten down a bolt enough.

Huge bad attitude, poor accommodation of our needs.

or 240-298-9060. He works days for IAP on Pax River but owns his own company an is very reasonable and reliable. he also does work for Middleton Hall in Waldorf as well as places in St. Mary's on a regular bases. He now carries Rheem products as well.

I feel your pain....must be the season...we are in the same situation.

We got Tri County Aire to come out and they did the job thoroughly and reasonably priced!! Quick fix! Glad that's over! Thanks for all the input!!
