Go ahead!! Have fun!! I never claimed to have any decor talents. :drama:

In fact, I recall when I first joined here, I had a thread looking for a decorator.

BUT, the olive green. :ohwell: I have a don't tell if not asked policy. The picture might not do it justice either.
No, the picture doesn't do it justice. It looks just great in her house. :yay:

I see more butt crack every day than I ever thought I would see in my entire life. Try working with a bunch of maintenance mechanics that have rental uniforms. I'm telling you, my day starts and ends with it........They are either bending down saying good morning with a big "smile" or saying "howdy" to my face with a big smile. My life would not be complete without my co-workers.

Today, for some reason, we had a real live rooster in the shop, in a cage, crowing all day.......Welcome to MY world........

Vrai... is that my olive green I see in your foyer?
Indeedy :yay:

I think the floors are too orangey and clash with the walls (which I WILL NOT CHANGE, DoWhat :smack: ) but I'm going to put down a light beige area rug to break it up a bit and it will be fine.

Pandora, the olive foyer (it's actually Loden :drama: ) looks much better in person.

And that white trim has now DEFINITELY got to go. :dead:
Hmmm, WWJabbaDo? :tap:

Floors look great! :yay: What'd they recommend you use for cleaning 'em? Are they a high-shine/gloss finish or satin finish?

My aunt and uncle are "updating" their house, room by room. I'll be damned if their guest room isn't the exact same shade of red, and their wood floors are the exact same color. My uncle ended up doing the trim (baseboards, door trim, etc) in wood, stained to match the floor. Doesn't sound too appealing, but the "after" was gorgeous. :yay:

The floors look great. Makes me wish we were that far along on the dream house. :yay:

See? I saved you some calories! If you're real nice, I'll take pics of it tomorrow and we can all tack them on our refrigerator.

Dining room done! Two "befores" and two "afters"...
Beautiful! :yay:

May I suggest trim stained to match the floors?

My problem is that it's already white...whatever that stuff is that is basically compressed sawdust. So I'd have to rip it all out and start fresh, which I might be too lazy to do.

My "maybe" house has light hw floors...I like the darker color better.
See, and I like your light floors, especially with the sunny yellow paint. I think my house is getting too dark. :ohwell:

They're moving our piano right now :cringe:
