Boneless chicken at that.....browned, then simmered in cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, onions and thinly sliced garlic cloves. :yum:

Mmm, that sounds good. Wonder how good it would be over some egg noodles.

It's pretty tasty if you cut the chicken small enough; or shred it.

Depending on how involved I want to get with it; I either simmer the chicken whole, or I cut it up into small pieces and turn it into a kind of chicken stew.

I have done a variation of this for years. Chicken, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1/2 can milk, 1/2 can sherry or dry white wine, instead of water. Serve with wild rice and green vegie.

Leave out the milk and it sounds pretty tasty.

It makes it much more creamy and gravy like.

I know it does; but lactose intolerance would prevent me from enjoying it; even cream of mushroom soup does a number on me; and the pills don't stop it; they just slow it down, turning 'after dinner' into a game of roulette.
