Helicopter - Seagull Beach

A state helicopter has flown over our house 3 times in the last 5 minutes using their spotlight. They just went over again and had the light in our neighbors yard, but didn't see anything.

They keep going back and concentrating on the area of Seagull Beach Rd.

If they're looking for someone...I'm freaking out. :jameo:

There they go again. I wish we had a scanner.

Well, after flying around several more times, they just left. If anyone hears what was going on, let me know. :howdy:

There's a scanner you can listen to somewhere on somd.com.

Make sure your doors and windows are locked and your curtains are pulled just in case. :huggy:

Yeah, but it was too late at night for me to try and find it. :lol: I had finally fallen asleep when the helicopter started. :tantrum

The scanner was down. It was online but appeared to be locked up on the Trunk Control freq so all that I heard on it was static.

I am working on putting a few scanners up and online. Working on it right now as a matter of fact.

I started a new Personal Forum "St. Mary's Online Scanner" It can be found in the by clicking the Group Memberships link in the User Control Panel.

So far I have a dedicated audio feed for St Mary's Police and another for St. Mary's Fire/EMS. Later I'll likely add 1 for Calvert and possibly add 1-2 more after that. Undecided as to what those might be as yet. I guess it will depend on what users request.

I never did find out what was going on that night.

However, now there's a helicopter (doesn't sound like the state copter) outside flying around for the last 30-45 minutes. I just looked out the window and it was hovering over my house for a few minutes. I hate not knowing what's going on. :tantrum
