Helicopter search in Dunkirk?

Last Sunday, June 3rd around 4:00 a.m. there was a helicopter search circling over my house in Dunkirk for about 30 minutes. I was freaking out since we had 10 children with us camping out in the back yard. It was fllying pretty low. I can't find any police reports or info about this in the local papers. Does anyone know what happened that morning?

I heard a little on the scanner, but was half asleep. I checked the news and haven't found anything.
