HELP! (again)

My new HP laptop developed a password. It wants to sign me in under some live.com account I don't even remember making. I have no idea what the password was and just changed it. The laptop won't take the new password and specifically wants the same password used the last time.

Do you have a hotmail account? It should be that password, if you have one.

If I have a hotmail account I only made it when I first started the computer. I don't remember it now. I changed it, but the computer will only take the old one.

When I started my Hotmail, I had to give an alternate email account for this purpose. If I say that I forgot my password, hotmail will send it to the other account.

Do you at least remember your user name ? If so there are help buttons where you can request to change your password. You should have questions you can answer that will then send you a link to change it.

windows 8 does this [by default] when you set up the computer ... it wants to be your 'on line' portal
