DW on her walk saw a vine growing on up someones mailbox that see liked, so she took me by there and showed it to me. Grows like a morning glory vine, but is purple in color and blossoms are different. It has a seed pod which is also purple in color and about a inch and half to two inches long.
I have no pictures to show any idea's as to what it might be.

I have a vine coming up from where there were once morning glories... The flowers look like little clusters of grass or something, and the vine has heardshaped leaves.. I see more and more weird stuff in my yard every year...

My grandmother has two of them. She calls them a Hawaiian bean plant  But if you google Hawaiian bean plant, it's showing something totally different

Yes. I have those things growing on my "hitchin'post" in the back yard. Very easy to grow and the flower is delicately sweet smelling. Just pull the bean pods off and let them totally dry out. Then shell them and re-seed next year. Mine actually re-seed themselves, too. But I toss extras in the dirt for good measure.
