Nope....I only attended for a year before we moved on again. We lived in the Norfolk/Va Beach area about 5 different times, Charleston SC twice and Philly/Jersey once.

house I had rented fell in the water during a hurricane in 86 I think it was.
new house there now

I was already in my own house by then. first house I owned was in tragic hollow, then from there I bought in chicks beach.

I got divorced, she got the house, I moved back to maryland.
Im not in southern Maryland though, Couldnt afford it.
Had to settle for Davidsonville.
its not too bad here, but those banjos, those damn god forsaken banjos playing back in the woods all night.

Oh and by the way, does everyone know that they are probably going to bring casinos back to Maryland..........YIKES!!!! We have enough traffic now!!!!

Wow...me too. My Dad retired in 1977, we might know one another, was your Dad stationed at NAS Oceana or NS Norfolk?

Anyway, I used to go down to Nags Head and work for the summer back in the 70's - it was called the 'Oasis'. It had a nickname as the "Barefoot Bar and Restaurant"...we worked barefooted!!!! That wouldn't occur today. :whistle:

Yes that is why my dad retired here although he could have gotten a contractor job in Va Beach................
