Help needed for the Ballistic Eagle...

Due to injuries sustained in a recent incident, Bob Motz and the Kenworth jet Truck will not be performing at his next few scheduled events. No details about Bob's injuries and of course our prayers and wishes go out to him.

With this sour news comes opportunity. My good friend, owner and operator of the Ballistic Eagle Jet motorcycle, will be performing in Bob's place at some events and alone in teh evenst where he was scheduled to appear with Bob, as well as his own regular scheduled events. This is where the problem arises and the help is needed.

Kevin needs a place to keep his truck and 42' Toy Hauler from July 14th thru July 29 in the SOMD area, relatively close to MIR. We're talking about a rig of about 70ft total length, and in a place that is relatively secure...off the beaten path but in a place that you can simply keep an eye on it. No, you can't have the keys, and no, you can't get a ride on the bike.

If you have the space and can stand this monstrosity in your view for 2 weeks, he and I would both be very appreciative as he is still trying to get this project of his on its own two feet so that his mohawk wearing self can quit his real job as an aircraft engineer and become a fulltime psycho. Budget for this thing is tight. All of kevins helpers are volunteers, so unfortunately, we're looking for space that is rent free.

email me at jeep_n_hog@yahoo.com If you are interested in helping.

Let me know what you have available. I will put you in touch with him directly. Also, if you want to help, great. But he only trusts you if I trust you. If I don't know you and can't get a good reference that I personally know, don't be offended if we don't take you up on the offer. Beggers can't be choosers, but we also have to protect the goods.

TIA

I have an email in to a possible parking location. I will let you know.

What kind of truck? We talking a pick up here? How long is just the trailer? Would he be willing to unhook the trailer while parked, and then park the truck next to it? I MAY have a 2nd possiblity.

42' trailer with an F350 crew cab dually. Unhitching shouldn't be a problem as long as the area is secure and there's no possibility of someone else hitching up to it when no one else is looking.

I have a few other leads that I'm working as well. I really appreciate the responses. This is fantastic!! :yay:

Try one of the fire departments. Most are usually manned, and they might be able to work out a little publicity in trade.

That's where I am checking. Mechanicsville VFD.

Just thought of somewhere. Call Mechanicsville Building Supplies. They have a LARGE fenced lot where they store supplies in a small section. I also see large trailers/buses/boats stored there from time to time.

I think we're hooked up. Another forum member came through for us. If something should go south with that deal for some reason, I will start calling the fire departmenst and teh building supply center, but for now, it appears that we are set. Kevin's going to call and talk to him later this afternoon to hammer out the details and make sure that everything is cool, neighbors still have to be notified and such.

Thanks everybody for helping out with this. Now, I've got to find a rental car to stage for him. :ohwell:
