I want to put some pictures on here of hummingbirds but they are all too big. DR is in bed or I'd ask him. How do I downsize them so I can upload them? I am a computer idiot.

First thing to do is a "Control, Alt, Delete".
That gets you into the picture control file.

And gives us a few minutes of enjoyment.

Depends on what software you have. I think I have MS Photo Editor. Once I open that and have the pic open there is an option in the upper left to resize the pic.

I find if I make the pics 1000 pixels wide then the height automaticaly changes with it. Once done, save it and you should be good to go.

I can host them on a website and you can link them to the thread.

WHich provider?

Usually you can just right click on the picture.. go to properties, highlight and 'copy' the url..

IN this forum you have to type /IMG src=' h**p.... '\


the slash and backwards slash replaced with the appropriate "less than" "greater than" symbol
"<" ">"
The quotes are included with the url to the picture between them.
