I have Office 2010 for the Word program. Can't seem to be able to have it single spaced. There is a thingy for spacing but after clicking on it more than single spacing continues. Can someone spell it out s l o w l y to help me? I'm sure it's simple but with computers so am I.

Go to the "PAGE LAYOUT" tab and make sure the spacing points both say 0.

:yay: And be sure to set that as the default. It will then ask if you want to make it that way for one document or for the rest of the documents. (changing the "normal template") I set it that way for all documents.

Thanks much. Think I got it although I can't seem to go back to my saved file to change what was initially double spaced. No big deal I guess as any future files will be single spaced. Thanks again.

Try "selecting" the whole document. (highlighting it) and then clicking on the single spaced thingy.

I did and couldn't change it. I think I'm good for the future documents so the membership will just have to live with with what they can get for these minutes. Thanks again very much.

There is also a very good help file built into the Microsoft Office products. In the upper right-hand corner you should see a question mark. If you click on that and then type your problem/question into the search box, it will normally point you in the right direction.
