I'm trying to print several Excel spreadsheets that are larger (not pages and pages long, but large...). I want them to print onto one page (yanno, I want Excel to auto shrink and fit them to the one page) and am selecting the 'fit to one page wide by one page tall' option in page setup, and it's still printing very large. I'm wondering if it's a problem with my actual Excel setup, because others are printing the documents using this method and it's working just fine for them. Any ideas on what's hosing me up?

Make sure you don't have auto choose paper size on. Select the paper size you want and do the 1x1 choice at the same time.

None of this is working, I've tried each suggestion several times. Also, it's hosing up any spreadsheet that I open - not just 1 spreadsheet. Also, I sent the sheet to Vince and he was able to get it on 1 page just fine. When I open the doc on my PC, it ends up on 35 pages in print preview. Argh! Maybe it's some setting in Excel in general. I'm so frustrated and have GOT to get this stuff printed! :tantrum

Did Vince save the spreadsheet and send it back to you so you could try printing it? It might fix it or override whatever setting that may be messing it up.

I don't think it's Excel or the document.. I have a feeling it's a printer setting. Go to control panel, printers, right click on the printer you are trying to use, select properties. and see if any of the settings are out of norm..

File-->Page Setup Under scaling, select the "Fit to:" button, then select your paper size underneath that. If that doesn't work, you're fawked!

Are you sure? It's not like it is showing one way and printing another. It shows up as a 6-page document, regardless of how many times I change the print area, shrink to fit, or tell it to print 1 page x 1 page.
