Henna

yeah yeah
Is there such thing as a Henna Party or a person who will come to your house and do it for a bunch of people?

Or.. can you buy it somewhere and do it on yourself?

You can buy it online and maybe even at the health food store in Leonardtown (they used to sell Henna hair coloring). Did you look online and find anyone?

YES there is such a thing as henna party where a lady comes to your house and does henna on you and your friends but usually its during a wedding. However, You maybe able to get one if you make it worth their while. Let me dig around and I can get you some info of people that can come to your house or you might have to go to them. I always have to go to them because it a BIG bother for them to drive down south(1.5 hours) but they'll drive 2 hours North,,,,will never understand that).

I LOVE Mehndi..love love love it. Indian weddings are reallyt he most beautiful there are..the colors..the tradition. I have always wanted one..:killingme despite me not being even remotely indian.

Question is...would it be weird or disrespectful if I got mehndi for my wedding? I don't know how many people would "get it" but the whole thing absolutely appeals to me...

I don't think you're going to disrespect anyone. I have a friend who does mehndi on pregnant stomachs. She says its a big craze. If you are interested in a indian theme wedding, I can hook you up with an indian wedding planner for your wedding. Let me know.
